We have profiled a very innovative company, DeepCell Industries, previously, and Matthew Kind interviewed its CEO, Kelly Ogilvie, on his most recent episode of CannaInsider. Ogilvie was working with Washington Governor Jay Hensley’s as Senior Policy Advisor for economic development and business interests when he left to form DeepCell Industries, his fifth startup.
DeepCell uses crystal fusion technology to fuse cannabinoids with crystals like sugar and salt and currently licences this technology in Washington to Green Labs on a per-package royalty, which is manufacturing and distributing Ruby (sugar) and Sapphire (salt) into consumer channels but eventually to enterprise processors. The company is engaged in licensee discussions in New York and Colorado and is hoping to find a partner in California and Oregon.
