Barricaded pot shop reopens, July 19
I am already mourning the loss of CAFE dispensaries in Toronto, with cops now dropping concrete blocks in front of the businesses to shut them down.
I would not have a problem with this whole issue if Ontario Cannabis Stores weren’t a joke in terms of quality, value and location.
When Canada decided to legalize cannabis, they automatically decided to be the only dealer on the block, and, as government tends to do, do it badly.
If they had just legalized cannabis, allowed people to grow and sell while collecting taxes all the way along, I imagine our provinces and country would do pretty well. None of the infrastructure charges, just reaping tax rewards.
