3 Toronto Dispensaries Raided by Police, Wednesday Afternoon

Written by Dankr.ca staff.
swed-raidWednesday September 7th, Toronto city police executed 3 search warrants, further pushing Project Claudia forward. The police have cut down on the large scale raids of 40+ dispensaries in one day and are taking down 1-3 storefronts in a day, regularly. This is to draw less attention and therefore less outcry from the public. So far it appears to be working with major papers not covering raids like yesterdays.

Toronto Police Services raided 3 dispensaries in Toronto:
Better Living 222 – 2791 Lakeshore Blvd. W.
S.W.E.D. Society Lakeshore – 3440 Lakeshore Blvd. W.
Canna Clinic Broadview – 350 Broadview Ave.

As of posting, Toronto Police Services had not released their official statement giving the details on who was arrested and products seized. Dank.ca is expecting the press release later today, and they have confirmed some dispensaries are already open again. Both S.W.E.D. Society Lakeshore and Canna Clinic Broadview have both been confirmed open today, September 8th. Better Living 222 has been unavailable, and can not confirm if they are open or not.
