EarlDabsLabs is a company run by a long time medical grower and patient who produce their products in house or partner with a third party. Starting in 2006, company owner Chris, started experimenting with making cannabis extracts. Over time he has refined his process for the specific strains they work with to get the best results. If you check out their website or follow them on social media, you’ll see the beautiful photos and videos they post showing their product and garden updates.
It is rare to find EarlDabsLabs vending at an event, but their products were in a lot of dispensaries in Toronto, and can be purchased online from their website. To purchase you need to register to be a member on their website, which is free. They have three options: 19+, medical, and wholesale to register you for the correct account. They ask for your standard information along with a copy of your medical document and/or government ID. Shortly after that, if approved you’ll be able to make purchases through their website.
EarlDabsLabs Pricing & Selection:
EarlDabsLabs produces extracts and edibles using the unique strains they grow. By focusing on extracts and edibles only, they have created many different products in each category that range in potency and texture from the processes applies. Unfortunately prices aren’t displayed on their website, but when we have see them at events, such as the 710 Cup, the prices were competitive with the other vendors at the event.
Unique to EarlDabsLabs:
EarlDabsLabs sets themselves apart from the competition by only working on extracts and edibles. This brings diversity to their product line, but still allows them to focus on refining their methods rather than some companies that try and be a walking dispensary, making everything themselves. People can do this, but often some products lack the attention they need to be improved. The various edibles and extracts I have tried by EarlDabsLabs have all been very tasty and enjoyable. I really like the packaging used by EarlDabsLabs, having lots of warnings, cannabinoid breakdown, best before date, ingredients, sealed & reseal able, nutrition facts, and more, all things a proper packaged good should have.
EarlDabsLabs has a page on their website dedicated to the “Chemotypes” or strains they cultivate. The strains are said to be unique to them in Canada, helping set themselves apart from the other producers in Canada. For those looking to access their products, they have medical, 19+ and wholesale accounts available. EarlDabsLabs products are all lab tested, and packaged with the known cannabinoid content and breakdown.
Sour Gummies Taste:
Ripping open the seal on the Sour Gummies, I was surprised the gummies didn’t reek of sourness. The smell was subtle and of a sour tea to my nose. When you put the infused treat into your mouth you taste the sour coating and a slight bit of cannabis flavour. The sour taste can be quite strong at first, that is followed up by an earthy cannabis taste for a brief moment then you are left with the regular tasty candy.
Sour Gummies Effects:
The Sour Gummies are dosed with 150mg of cannabis extract, with the breakdown of cannabinoids shown. The package contains 99.87mg of THC across the 6 gummies for 16.645mg of THC per candy. I’m a big fan of products such as this that can be dosed incrementally through out your day to help with your medical aliments. Being an infused gummy, the cannabinoids will absorb sublingually through the tissue in your mouth, helping provide a quick onset of effects.
