What’s Going On Here: New Renfrew Cannabis Shop

A new cannabis retail store is being planned for Renfrew.

JUST THE FACTS

• The Alcohol and Gaming Commission of Ontario (AGCO) received a new application for Cannabis 228, to be located at 28 Raglan St. N., near Mill Music.

• The public notice for Cannabis 228 end on Jan. 29, 2020. Written submissions can be made for 15 days from the initial application submission date residents of the municipality where the proposed store is located.

• In 2020, two applications were submitted for cannabis dispensaries in Renfrew: T Cannabis and A High Class Joint.

• T Cannabis, to be located at 164 Raglan St. S. near Scott and Son’s Hardware, currently has seven locations all across Ontario, with two more coming soon.
