April 20th is an international holiday for the cannabis community on par with Christmas. Every year on the twentieth day of the fourth month, cannabis users and activists get together as a public show of support and unity for the plant that unites us.
This year Toronto’s main celebration will be taking place at Nathan Phillips Square, NOT Yonge and Dunsas Square like past years. Festivities are planned from 10 am to 7 pm, though the crowds generally thin out after the big 4:20 pm smokeout.
