Two Brantford residents have been arrested after police on May 28 seized about $100,000 worth of illegal cannabis during searches of two houses, one in the city and one in Brant County.

Police said they charged a 37-year-old man and 34-year-old woman with possessing cannabis for the purpose of selling and cultivating, propagating or harvesting more than four cannabis plants.
