The Nova Scotia RCMP have arrested two men in connection to an unlicensed online cannabis store.
In a news release, RCMP state they have seized “a significant quantity” of cannabis products and an investigation into the illicit business is on-going.
The RCMP executed the search warrant at a warehouse in Bible Hill, N.S., with assistance from Criminal Intelligence Service Nova Scotia and Colchester District Street Crime Enforcement Unit.
An unspecified amount of cash was also seized at the address.
The two men, aged 35 and 36, have been charged with distribution of cannabis, possession for the purpose of distributing cannabis, unlawfully selling cannabis and unauthorized possession of cannabis for the purpose of selling it.
They are due in Truro Provincial Court in April.
Under the Cannabis Act, selling illicit cannabis can lead to a 14-year prison term.
