Toronto Police announced today that on Thursday, August 24, 2017, at 6 a.m., officers executed search warrants for a ‘drug lab’ and seized large sums of cannabis, edibles and cannabis products like shatter.
Police say they seized 83.5 kg of marijuana, with what they say is a street value of $1 million, 26.3 kg of edible marijuana products and 560 g of marijuana resin, including shatter, and have arrested Shawn Oliver, 55, and Pierre Brochu, 62, both of Toronto. Both are charged with possession of a narcotic, various counts of possession of a narcotic for the purpose of trafficking and proceeds of crime. Brochu is also charged with production of a narcotic.
Both appeared in court at Old City Hall on Friday, August 25, 2017, 10 a.m., room 103.
