On Monday morning, the Ontario Provincial Police made a traffic stop in Toronto and seized over 100 kilos of cannabis.
The traffic stop for a highway traffic act violation on Hwy. 401 near Avenue Rd. resulted in the driver being arrested and charged with multiple drug offences.
Approximately 105 kilos of cannabis was seized along with over $5,000 in cash, cell phones, and drug paraphernalia.
Xue Zoe, 31, from Markham, is charged with driving with a handheld communication device, drive a vehicle with cannabis readily available, possession for the purpose of distributing, possession of proceeds obtained by crime over $5,000, and possession of illicit cannabis.
