Three more applications have rolled in to open cannabis stores in the city, bringing to nine the total number of stores proposed so far for Windsor and Essex County.
The latest Windsor locations are all called the We Store, proposed for commercial locations at 1565 Wyandotte St. E., 6038 Tecumseh Rd. E. and 1800 Huron Church Rd.
Until recently, there was only one cannabis store in the pipeline. J. Supply Co. opened its Windsor location at 545 Ouellette Ave. at the end of March, though COVID-19 precautions have limited business to online orders and curbside pickup.
