Brampton’s “budding” cannabis retail market has a new addition.
The POTery, located at 239 Queen St. East, opened its doors in January and is the city’s third legal pot shop listed on the Ontario government’s authorized cannabis retailer website.
“Our main motto is to make sure that Brampton has reliable and fast access to cannabis and cannabis products,” said POTery co-owner Matthew Dundee, who owns and operates the new business with his brother-in-law Deep Sihota.
“The POTery is an independently owned, licensed recreational cannabis store aimed at providing accessibility, affordability and education to high quality cannabis to our local Brampton community. This will be delivered by our Potanists who ensure a consistently high degree of customer service each and every time,” added Dundee.
Dundee and Sihota, both lifelong Brampton residents, describe their new venture as a “mom and pop” operation aimed at creating a safe space for customers to purchase cannabis products, while also hoping to help diminish the stigma they believe still surrounds recreational cannabis use.
