There have been no approvals to open yet, but the number of pot shop applications continues to grow in Sarnia-Lambton.

There are now 14 proposed cannabis stores including 11 in the city.

The latest are for The We Store at 450 Trudeau Drive, Bogarts Cannabis Shop at 1202 Lakeshore Road, and Your Highness at 415 Exmouth Street, according to the Alcohol and Gaming Commission of Ontario (AGCO) website.

Every application is still “in progress” except for The We Store and True North Cannabis Company which were both in the “public notice” stage.

There are two proposed stores in Petrolia now.
