Marijuana protesters will take to the streets today in Toronto, Vancouver and cities around the world for The Global Marijuana March 2017.
The GMM is one of the planet’s largest pot protests, with participants in 829 different cities in 72 countries worldwide since it’s creation in 1999 by Yippy activist Dana Beal.
Toronto’s 19th-annual GMM will start and end at Queen’s Park and thousands will march through city streets with a police escort.
Vancouver’s GMM will start at Victory Square Park (on the corner of Cambie St. & Hastings St.) and work it’s way to English Bay for a smokey 4:20 countdown on the beach.
