Waterloo Regional Police have released more information about a sizeable cannabis bust on Friday.
North Division’s Community Orientated Response and Enforcement (CORE) team initiated an investigation into the production and distribution of illegal cannabis at two commercial properties on Baffin Place in Waterloo that afternoon.
During the execution of the Federal Cannabis Act search warrant, police seized over 700 cannabis plants, over 20,000 grams of cannabis bud, and a large quantity of edibles.
Police estimate the street value at over $200,000.
They also say arrests and charges are pending.
