Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) stopped a rental van with an expensive haul of trash earlier this week.
Global News reports that officers responded to a call about a rental van in Quinte West that reeked of weed.
Police located and stopped the van west of southeastern Ontario community of Frankford. With the assistance of the OPP community street crime unit, officers seized more than 70 garbage bags stuffed with cannabis. The haul weighed in at about 1,400 pounds (653 kg) according to police, who also seized cash and a cellphone.
