Earlier this week, the OPP, along with members of the Northumberland and Peterborough Community Street Crime Unit, seized 870 cannabis plants from a property in the area of Trent Hills Ont.

The police allege the value of the cannabis is $870,000, reports Global News. Two men from Toronto have been charged.

The OPP seems to have increased its focus on illicit grow operations over the last month, executing search warrants across Southern Ontario.
