A 36-year-old Haldimand County man faces numerous charges after police raided an illegal cannabis shop in Caledonia last week.
On May 17, the Organized Crime Enforcement Bureau of the Ontario Provincial Police searched the storefront on Sutherland Street.
As a result, police seized a quantity of illegal cannabis.
Brian Haskett has been charged with five counts of possession of cannabis for the purpose selling, an offence under the Federal Cannabis Act, and possession of property obtained by crime under $5,000.
OPP say they are continuing to lead an enforcement strategy that includes other Ontario police services. This strategy will reflect actionable intelligence on illegal cannabis operations.
