The OPP released a subsequent statement claiming to have found and confiscated a variety of cannabis products such as flower, hashish, and oils as well as cash and a bill counter.

Pawlik, however, says that not only was he targeted by OPP, but there also were no restricted items in the shop. The only products confiscated from Green Light District were bath bombs that were free of any cannabinoids, and therefore not prohibited or restricted for sale.

“There was never anything illegally sold out of the store,” said Pawlik.

The charges, Pawlik alleges, resulted from an incident where he was seen giving one of his co-accused a ride to a house later raided by police where the aforementioned illicit products were confiscated.
