More than  a retail store, Flower Haze is a retail destination

Appreciating that many Canadian women and men have not yet tried legal recreational cannabis, Flower Haze Cannabis Boutique is presenting its products in approachable ways. Customers are almost intuitively drawn to the cannabis strains that appeal to them.

Located at 1571 Bank St. in Ottawa, “our boutique is designed so that once you walk in, you are guided in the right manner to find the products that are right for you,” explains Flower Haze’s manager.

Rather then organizing cannabis products by strain types, Flower Haze arranges them simply by desired experiences. Icons represent four mood categories: energize, relax, fuse and activate. Tables displaying interactive sensory pods encourage customers to see and smell cannabis in its different forms.

Educated and trained budtenders are on hand to expand customers’ understanding of cannabis and the varying effects that can be experienced. Everyone from first-timers to cannasseurs can broaden their knowledge of CBD, sativa, indica and hybrid, and see how these strains are incorporated into the boutique’s large menu of flowers, pre-rolls, vaporizers, concentrates, topicals, edibles and beverages.

Since the store opened on March 29, the Flower Haze team has been noting customer preferences and sourcing people’s special requests.

At Flower Haze, their goal is “to cultivate an eclectic environment that breeds innovation and creativity within Canada’s budding cannabis industry,” says the manager. “We are a passionate, hardworking team looking to bring the cannabis culture out of the shadows, erase stigma and educate people along the way.”
