An individual from Toronto was charged with a cannabis offence on May 9 after Manitoulin OPP conducted a traffic stop on Hwy 17 in Nairn-Hyman Township.

The officers saw a violation while they were on patrol at about 9:27 p.m.

As a result of the investigation, a 37-year-old suspect was charged with driving a vehicle with cannabis readily available, driving unaccompanied while holding a G1 license, and driving without proper headlights.
