Two Hamilton women are facing charges after police targeted two more local cannabis dispensaries.

Officers from the Provincial Joint Forces Cannabis Enforcement Team, which includes three Hamilton officers, executed two search warrants at illegal storefronts in the 100 section of King Street East and in the 400 section of Highway 8 in Stoney Creek on Feb. 14.

In a news release Tuesday, police said they seized Cannabidiol (CBD) products including oil, water, tea, edibles, bath products, health or grooming products and vape pens.

Two women, ages 28 and 22, are facing charges including possessing cannabis for the purpose of selling and possession of property obtained by crime under $5,000.
