The budding legal cannabis market is getting bigger with the opening of another Waterloo retail shop.
Sessions, an Ontario-based retail brand, will hold a grand opening this Saturday, March 27 at 573 King St. N (at Northfield Drive), beginning at 9 a.m. with a ribbon cutting and a day of specials and giveaways to follow.
The 1,800-square-foot space promises to be a local source for some of the industry’s most reputable and popular cannabis brands offering a range of product types, including dried flower, pre-rolls, vaporizers, edibles, beverages, and accessories.
Owner Kelly Warren previously operated her own clothing store for the past eight and a half years, but said she was challenged to keep her business thriving amid lockdowns and the ever-changing operational regulations.
