A Kitchener, Ont. man has added to the annals of what never to do when carrying weed in your car when he blew through a stop sign at about 12:40 a.m. on Tuesday.
Waterloo Regional Police (WRP) were conducting stop sign enforcement when the 21-year-old apparently decided the sign was merely a suggestion.
After stopping the car, police detected a strong scent of cannabis, notes a WRP press release. They went on to find about 3.5 kg of suspected cannabis, 70 grams of suspected cocaine, large amounts of suspected MDMA, Xannax, Oxycodone and psilocybin, multiple cellphones, scales, drug packaging and about $5,000 in cash.
