Canadian university students turn to cannabis three times more often than tobacco, according to research by the Public Health Agency.
They study found that only 10% of students smoked tobacco, including casual users, according to Blacklock’s Reporter.
“Problematic substance use poses a risk to the health and safety of post-secondary students across Canada,” said a Post-Secondary Education Alcohol And Drug Use Survey. Findings were based on questionnaires with 21,297 Canadian college and university students, aged 17 to 25.
