Cannabis Plants Worth $234K Found in Van at Putnam Weigh Scales

A Scarborough resident faces charges after police seized more than 200 marijuana plants from a moving van at a weigh station east of London.

Middlesex OPP were called March 2 to help Ministry of Transportation officers at the Putnam scales on Highway 401, where 234 cannabis plants, valued at $234,000, were discovered in the back of a moving van, police said Monday.
