Weed hangovers are a mystery. Unlike alcohol hangovers, which can affect just about anyone, when weed hangovers happen, there’s often little explanation as to why.
Maybe a person smoked more than ever before smoked or maybe consumed weed in a brand new way. A person may never experience a weed hangover, or the unwelcome guest could be a frequent visitor.
Weed hangovers encompass a range of effects that include brain fog, headaches, fatigue and even feeling high hours later. While some would argue weed hangovers are not as uncomfortable as the alcohol variety, they can still be limiting, starting with the first puff and sometimes lasting for hours afterward.
Anecdotal evidence suggests weed hangovers are related to the amount of cannabis that’s been consumed. This varies from person to person, of course, and depends on the individual’s cannabis threshold.
In general, though, it appears that the more THC in the cannabis consumed, and the more that is consumed, the higher the odds of getting a related hangover. If that happens, here are a few things to try to the hangover under control.
