Article by Carlie Beblin, Cannabis Life Network

If you run out of your favorite bud – do not fear – delivery services are here! Below are some Cannabis delivery options across Canada during COVID-19.

It is important to note that each province has different regulations on Cannabis and therefore delivery options are limited by your location. Nonetheless, let’s get started!

Cannabis delivery in British Columbia

If you are quarantining in beautiful British Columbia, you may order your Cannabis from the provincially-run retailer, BC Cannabis Stores. Products will be shipped via Canada Post. Delivery is offered for an $8 flat fee and those located in Lower Mainland, Sidney, and Victoria can enjoy two-day delivery while shipping to other areas may take three to seven days for the same price.

Update – BC Cannabis Stores have reduced the shipping fee from $8 to $6. Customers ordering from BC Cannabis Stores online will be required to collect their orders from a post office location once they receive a notice card indicating where they can pick up their items.

Cannabis delivery in Alberta

In Alberta, private cannabis retailers are not permitted to deliver cannabis, but not to worry, you can order directly from the crown-run corporation. Alberta Cannabis is the only place Albertans can order Cannabis for delivery. Shipping is then provided by either Canada Post or Purolator at a flat cost of $4.95 per order. Shipment time will vary depending on your location and is subject to delays due to COVID-19.

Cannabis delivery in Saskatchewan

In SaskatchewanCannabis delivery is not restricted to solely provincially run corporations and for this reason, you have more options – YAY!

The Nova Scotia Liquor Corporation (NSLC) website is where Cannabis orders can be placed for delivery. For a flat fee of $7, your Cannabis delivery will be sent via Canada Post. Which, by the way, may take 2-3 business days.
