Police officers found that a semi-trailer stopped for an inspection on Highway 1 East in Saskatchewan had more than its manifested load when they discovered 101 kilograms of cannabis hidden inside the trailer.
Saskatchewan Highway Patrol noticed the semi-trailer, travelling at about 9:30 pm on Nov. 25 between Pense and Grand Coulee, and contacted the White Butte RCMP. When a search was done, 223 pounds (101 kg) of weed was found and seized, according to the police.
