Yongesterdam Lounge Rules:
Just like most vape lounges in Toronto, there are few rules. You must be19+ to enter the vape lounge, bring your own cannabis, be respectful and make a minimum purchase of $5. This is a nice change as most vape lounges charge $5 to enter and more for snacks. This food is either freshly baked and delivered in the morning, or prepared on site when ordered. As a result patrons of the lounge must smoked on the mostly enclosed patio with heat lamps. Dabbing and vaping is allowed inside.
Yongesterdam Lounge Layout:
The summer of 2017, Yongesterdam closed down for a couple months and did some renovations. The result is a nice, friendly environment to enjoy your cannabis and socialize. The main area for seating is located right by the café counter, consisting of multiple tables with cushioned bench seating. On the opposite wall there is an e-nail waiting, ready to go. On the wall there is a large TV where visitors can put on whatever they like. Behind the café there is another more private area with more seats, tables and a TV. There is also a large outdoor patio, decorated with art. The patio has a built in bench around the majority of the parameter and tables so you can sit, sesh and be comfortable. On your way out to the patio, there are a few more tables & chairs, with a modern arcade game and washrooms close by.
Yongesterdam Lounge Conveniences:
Yongesterdam Lounge offers a great diversity of café products, including coffee, hot chocolate, pop, fresh grilled cheese sandwiches, poutine, fries, and more. Currently Yongesterdam Lounge doesn’t have any regularly scheduled entertainment. They do on occasion host private events like on 4/20 and other holidays. For daily entertainment there are three TVs with thousands of channels, as well as the ability to play anything off of your phone on their wifi. The wifi also makes this a great location to set up shop to get work done if you like medicating as you work. Their is also an arcade game that is loaded with multiple old school games, one and two player for entertainment. The staff and other patients that visit Yongesterdam Lounge are very friendly and open to meeting new people. In other vape lounges in Toronto, people are advised to keep to themselves. This is part of the reason Yongesterdam Lounge is a very unique vape lounge, the welcoming environment.
