The greatest thing about summer coming is the abundance of amazingly fresh vegetables everywhere, from supermarkets to outdoor farmers markets.  What better way to use those veggies than creating different types of rice rolls?

Every great rice roll needs a delicious sauce for dipping.  We created an avocado dipping sauce that will be sure to compliment whatever ingredients you put in your rice rolls.

You’ll need to start with a package of rice paper, which you can find in the Asian section of your supermarket. Then the sky’s the limit for what ingredients you can add to your rice rolls:

  • Vermicelli Noodles
  • Cucumbers
  • Carrots
  • Peppers (Red, Green, Yellow, Orange)
  • Onions
  • Asparagus
  • Mushrooms
  • Spinach
  • Jalapeno’s
  • Radishes
  • Brown Rice
  • Cabbage (Green & Red)
  • Sprouts
  • Avocados
  • Black Beans
  • Chicken Breast
  • Turkey Breast
  • Steak
  • Fish (Salmon, Tuna, Shrimp)
  • Quinoa
  • Bacon


  1. To prepare rice rolls, soak an individual rice paper in a skillet or bowl of warm water until it softens, then shake off the excess water and place on a dry plate. Arrange with your choice of fillings and roll tightly, tucking in the sides as you go. Repeat as needed.
