Demi Lovato is on the cover of the March issue of Glamour, and the singer and actress opened up about her 2018 opioid overdose and her new approach to sobriety.
An upcoming documentary series, Demi Lovato: Dancing With The Devil, which chronicles Lovato’s life and near-fatal overdose, will debut on streaming services later this month.
In her interview with Glamour, Lovato discussed the overdose that led to three strokes and a heart attack and how, after six years of sobriety, she’s now consuming cannabis and alcohol in moderation.
Lovato told Glamour she called her recovery case manager, Charles Cook, and informed him the “all-or-nothing” approach to sobriety and treating her eating disorder was not working for her.
