Trevin Jones looked overmatched in the opening round of his UFC debut at ESPN 15.

He took the fight on short notice and reportedly cut 16 pounds in 36 hours to make the 140-pound catchweight limit for his match against Timur Valiev. In the first round, Valiev connected on a kick to the body that had Jones in trouble, but he managed to survive to the bell and then sent Valiev to the mat with a right hook in the next round, completing one of the most stunning comebacks in recent UFC history.

Earlier this week, however, that accomplishment was diminished. The Nevada Athletic Commission has stripped Jones of the win after he tested positive for cannabis, reports MMA Fighting.
