Despite CBD’s popularity, the product remains unregulated and lacks scientific research. People interested in the compound have to make sure they’re buying the right kind of products, as well as avoiding false advertising and items that claim to feature CBD, but don’t.

There are many questions surrounding CBD, including how it works and why it has been reported to provide relief for many different conditions. While experts are nowhere near understanding everything there is to know about CBD, here are some details about how CBD interacts with the body.

Experts believe that CBD attaches itself indirectly to the cannabinoid receptors in our bodies. These receptors are known for regulating a wide variety of behaviours, including appetite, pain, moods and even memory.
