U.S. Customs and Border Protection officers have seized millions of dollars worth of illicit cannabis after a search on Thursday yielded a massive stash at the Peace Bridge.
The discovery was made by CBP officers at the Port of Buffalo when a cannabis-nosed police K9 signaled two commercial shipments to be suspicious, WIVB.com reports. When the shipments, labeled as “numerical control machines,” were subsequently searched, they were found to contain metal cabinets that had been screwed tightly shut.
