HempFusion Wellness Inc is a health and wellness supplement company utilizing the power of whole-food hemp nutrition. It manufactures, markets, and sells hemp-based cannabidiol (CBD) and probiotic products in the US and Europe.

The Denver, Colorado-based company’s family of brands — HempFusion, Probulin Probiotics, Biome Research, and HF Labs — are widely distributed to around 4,000 retailers spread across all 50 US states and select international locations.

In addition, HempFusion’s wholly-owned subsidiary Probulin Probiotics is one of the fastest-growing probiotics companies in the US, according to data technology company SPINS. The subsidiary offers the unique MAKtrek 3-D system that ensures more probiotics arrive alive.

HempFusion’s diverse product portfolio has 46 SKUs including CBD capsules to help with sleep, energy, and stress, CBD liquid tinctures, an over-the-counter drug-listed topical line for sports pain relief, eczema, acne, and more. And it sees itself as a serious R&D company given the nearly 30 products under development.

How is it doing:

HempFusion kicked off 2021 by closing a US$17 million IPO to raise the capital that will help execute its strategic business plan in 2021 and beyond. The company plans to use the money to bolster marketing initiatives, advance product R&D, increase distribution and expand e-commerce operations. The company also started trading on the Toronto Stock Exchange at the same time.

In fact, in the first two months of 2021, HempFusion has managed to achieve several other milestones, including entering the European CBD market. The company and its partner, a leading European firm with a wide retail presence, will start selling its products in Ireland under a distribution agreement.

In addition, back in North America, the company struck another distribution agreement – with Fullscript.com, a leading e-commerce platform that allows health professionals to dispense professional-grade natural health products. Fullscript provides nutritional supplements to over 80,000 practitioners and over 600,000 patients across the US and Canada. HempFusion will supply seven of its Biome Research SKUs.

On top of this, the company also received USDA Organic Certification for its HempFusion CBD tinctures ranging in potency from 150 milligrams (mg) to 1,500mg per bottle, making HempFusion one of the first publicly traded CBD companies to achieve such USDA distinction.

As for product launches, the Probulin Probiotics subsidiary plans to start selling in February its Total Care Immune probiotic product nationally via a number of major retailers. And the subsidiary has expanded its distribution on Amazon through an e-commerce store within the online retail giant’s platform.

The company also recently signed an exclusive partnership with Loenbro Motorsports, one of the world’s leading race teams. HempFusion’s sponsorship kicked off in early February with its car debuting at the 50th Annual DIRTcar Nationals at Volusia Speedway near Daytona. The team’s legendary driver, Steve Arpin, is behind the wheel.
