Seasoned cannabis users don’t tend to stumble into bad highs or a bong that smokes poorly. These people tend to be ready when it’s time to smoke, having the necessary tools at hand to get high as smoothly and as efficiently as possible.
Still, accidents do happen, ruining the moment to get high and forcing a person to look for alternatives when that’s the last thing they want to do.
Here are five of the most common problems that pester weed users and what they can do to fix them.
Running out of weed
Smoking cannabis and then running out of it is a thing that rarely happens unless a person happens to be distracted by others, or by keeping one’s stash in different places (why?). Fortunately, some places have online and delivery options available. There may be a bit of wait, but who cares if you can sit on the couch and wait comfortably in your pajamas.
Broken bongs and pipes
Accidents happen, especially when stoned. A broken bong isn’t fun. Aside from losing something a person liked or that may have been expensive, there’s the weed water mess on the floor or rug.
Count that bong as gone and don’t smoke from anything that’s broken, even if the damage is only minor. The situation may demand changing consumption methods, perhaps to rolling your own joint. With a clear head and a bit of research, a new bong is only the next purchase away.
Rolling joints is not a skill possessed by all weed smokers. Still, most of the time, incorrect rolling can be rectified by learning how to do it the right way, by adding some filters, by buying the right rolling paper or, when all else fails, by purchasing a cigarette roller. Remember, life’s too short to get frustrated over a joint.
Getting too high
Although getting too high is unlikely a regular occurrence for seasoned smokers, it can occur when trying out a new method, coming back from a tolerance break or checking out a new strain.
When feeling too high, the best solution is to sleep it off. If there’s no time to do that, try going for a walk and drinking some water, anything that stimulates you and allows you to relax. There’s not much to be done except stay calm and wait for the high to pass.
