With some beaches south of the border reopening, people apparently unconcerned with furthering the spread of COVID-19 have been enjoying the usual offering of wind, sun and sand. One Floridian, however, got a whole lot more than that when they found bales of weed that had washed up.
Five cannabis bales were discovered last week near the shore of a beach in Marathon, Fla., a city in the Florida Keys, located between the Atlantic Ocean and the Gulf of Mexico, reports the Monroe County Sheriff’s Office.
A blue plastic barrel was found containing bales of weed that weighed approximately 90 pounds, according to CBS Miami.
