X Factor rapper Honey G has said she’d welcome the legalisation of cannabis in the UK.
Honey G aka Anna Georgette Gilford recently admitted to using Class A drugs including pills and cocaine, with some fans calling for the star to be booted from the show, but now she’s revealed how she wouldn’t be against the idea of cannabis becoming legal in Britain.
Speaking to The Mirror, Anna said: ‘I don’t object to people smoking weed. It is very liberating.
‘People use it for medicinal purposes. I don’t object to it being legalised.’
Cannabis is classified as a Class B drug in the UK, with those found in possession facing a penalty of up to five years in prison.
