RastaRozion is a Canadian rosin company based out of Toronto. The company is run by two Rastafarian’s, who have a combined over 40 years of cannabis experience. RastaRozion was started in February of 2017, and seeks to bring the highest quality rosin to the Toronto market.
Unfortunately RastaRozion’s products currently aren’t available in any Toronto dispensaries. It is just a matter of time until their rosin is carried in a dispensary near you though. In the mean time, RastaRozion can be reached out to on Instagram directly for purchases, or wholesale inquiries.
Pricing & Selection:
RastaRozion uses high quality New York Rosin Presses’, which allow for a lot of presser at a specific temperature. The greater the pressure, the more you will yield and therefore help keep the cost down. Because of this, and seeking out high yielding strains, RastaRozion is able to retail their products between $45 – $60/g, depending on the strain. There are also wholesale options available at an even more affordable price.
Unique to RastaRozion:
RastaRozion sets themselves apart by focusing only on rosin production, promoting the benefits of solventless extracts, and New York Rosin Presses. RastaRozion seek the finest quality of starting material, grown by Canadian growers. To get great rosin, you first need to start with great buds. RastaRozion is hoping that very soon they will be able to grow their own cannabis, and go straight from Soil to Oil! I think this may make them the first rosin company to grow their own plants in Canada . All presses are done for a short time, at a low temperature. The care RastaRozion puts into their products is a result of Rastafarian culture and the teachings of ONEPEOPLE and ONELOVE!
Smell, Texture, Taste:
The smell of the Baba Ganoush is very complex with a sweet, almost lavender smell with an earthy, musky undertone. The rosin preserved the terpene profile phenomenally making for the complex aroma and gooey texture. The rosin was starting to stick to the parchment paper, making it hard to get every last bit. On inhale, the Baba Ganoush came across as very sweet. On exhale, the earthy, more musky flavours come through with a very creamy taste to it. Overall the strain was very light and airy, making it very smooth to dab.
Baba Ganoush is a rare, hybrid strain that is very well balanced. If anything it is slightly more sativa, but without any anxiety tendencies. There is also minimal mental fog from this strain as it easies you into a relaxed state. Baba Ganoush is ideal for daytime consumption, providing uplifting effects with clear mental focus. This strain would benefit people suffering from anxiety, depression, or need a boost of energy.
