Mary’s Brew Overview:
Mary’s Wellness, the company that produces Mary’s Brew product line was founded in 2015 by a mother of six, Virginia. Following the birth of triplets and multiple surgeries, she found herself taking prescription drugs that made her feel like she couldn’t function or take care of her family. Virginia used cannabis to help heal her body and recover. Though still raising a family, a way to consume cannabis without smoking or vaping was sought after. Add cannabis and tea seemed natural as they are great ways to start the day and people have them both daily.

Unique to Mary’s Brew:
Mary’s Brew was created for medical patients as a discrete way to consumed your cannabinoids. As a result Mary’s Brew contains both THC and CBD in moderate amounts. This is great for your average medical patient. The little bit of CBD helps relieve pain, anxiety, and any side effects, if too much THC is consumed. Depending on which tea you are having will dictate how much caffeine is consumed. The caffeine comes from the Chai plant that contains different levels of caffeine depending on its ripeness. The black tea will have the most caffeine, with the green tea having less, with the fruit and herbal teas containing no caffeine.
The most unique thing about Mary’s Brew is that they are infused with “nano emulsions” an advanced drug delivery system. Nano Emulsions breaks the drug (in this case THC and CBD) into typically 20-200 nm size droplets that allow them to mix/dissolve with water.
Green Tea With Ginseng Taste:
The taste of the Green Tea With Ginseng is just like a non-medicated green tea, with no noticeable cannabis flavour. The green tea taste is the more prominent one, but not overpowering. You can always allow the tea to steep for longer if you prefer a stronger taste. The ginseng provides sweetness to the second half of the flavour profile making it very pleasant.
Green Tea With Ginseng Effects:
The effects of Mary’s Brew can be felt very quickly, often within 20 minutes on an empty stomach. This is a result of the nana emulsions that make for quick onset of effects through your stomach and tissue in your mouth. The caffeine also provides a mental shift that some may not be expecting. Don’t forget the herbal and fruit teas don’t contain caffeine. As you enjoy your tea it can easily be topped up with water, making it last longer. Though there isn’t as much THC and CBD there will be some to enjoy as the effects of your tea start to dwindle. I found with the teas’ quick onset of effects that the duration of relief was approximately 2 hours before re-medicating.
