Herbivores Edibles Overview:
Herbivores is a division of Exotica Farms, a well respected collective from Ontario. I met them at The 710 Cup 2017 and was very impressed with the selection of edibles they had on hand. This is my second time reviewing one of their products, the first was Dong Kong and the full review can be found HERE!
Accessing Herbivores Edibles:
I discovered Herbivores at The 710 Cup and they are known to do the marketplace circuit for events like the Marijuana March and Green Market but they are starting to pop up at online dispensaries, storefronts and they now have a website up at www.GreenHouseExclusives.ca. Also follow Herbivores Edibles on Instagram: @HerbivorsEdibles.
Herbivores Edibles Pricing & Selection:
Herbivores product selection is large and is centered around infused versions of your favorite treats. Their cakes are all plays on lunchtime classics… Twinkies, Swiss Rolls and Jelly Rolls are all present. Herbivores Edibles also has infused chocolate bars (their Reese “Racers” peanut butter cups are amazing!) and gummies. Gummies and bars are usually around $10 and the cakes $15.
Unique to Herbivores Edibles:
Herbivores boasts their infusions have zero cannabis flavor and are true to their original versions.
Berry Log Smell, Texture, Taste:
When Herbivores says no cannabis flavor, they mean it! This tasted exactly how the non-cannabis infused versions tastes! Wow!
Berry Log Effects:
Start Time: 1pm
Starting to feel effects: 2pm (1 hour)
Effects strong feeling set in: 2:20pm (1 hour 20 minutes)
Effect coming down: 4:45pm
The effects came on in about an hour and peeked about 20 minutes and lasted for about 3 hours. The extra 50mg gave the Berry Log a little more longevity the Dong Kong was missing. The come on was nice and the sustained buzz throughout was very clearheaded and completely relaxing. I enjoyed this very much!
