Eva’s Delicacies Overview:
A British Columbia based edible company, Eva’s Delicacies has been infusing treats since 2014. Offering a variety of edibles, from candies, to dried fruit and more. Most of Eva’s Delicacies are infused with CO2 extracted cannabis THC distillate, allowing these edible treats to contain the psychoactive effects of cannabis with the added benefits of more accurate dosing without the interfering smell or flavour from the plant.

Eva’s Delicacies Pricing & Selection:
Eva’s Delicacies’ products range in size and strength so prices tend to range between $15-$60 depending on the product and where it’s being sold. These gummies typically retail for around $35, which is decently priced given their hefty 300mg total THC dosage.
Unique to Eva’s Delicacies:
With the advancements made in extraction and distillate production, infused edibles are becoming easier to create. Combined with a global movement of cannabis re-acceptance, the sheer amount and level of quality of edibles in the marketplace is much higher too. Something like infused candies are almost everywhere now. But something that many brands still don’t seem to grasp is the importance of information and detail when it comes to edible labeling. Even today, many edibles in the marketplace don’t even contain an ingredient list. Eva’s Delicacies on the other hand, have a full ingredient list, clear dosage, appropriate warning statements, and even a helpful chart to guide you with your consumption. Whenever it comes to a food product, especially one with psychoactive effects, detailed labeling is crucial.
Eva’s Delicacies Packaging & Appearance:
Packaging is professional grade with products packaged in heat-sealed, ziplock foil bags, stuck with custom label stickers. Eva’s Delicacies are branded with a Pop Art theme throughout their labels, giving their labels and brand a colourful and fresh style, appealing to the young adult. Although the label didn’t specify the product name, it was nicely designed and did display ingredients, dosage, warnings and a handy guide. Although labeled with a total package dosage, it would be nice to know what kind of gummies were inside and how much each individual piece is dosed, rather than having to make any calculations.
Infused Gummy Smell, Texture, Taste:
Opening the package, I could smell the familiar smell of your typical commercial-grade gummy candies. Inside were 9 gummy candies, 3 swedish fish, 3 mint leaves and 3 fuzzy peaches. I actually had no idea what gummies or flavours the package contained until I opened it up which would have been good to see on the label, as I’m not a big fan of peach or mint flavoured candies.
Gummy pieces inside were coloured and shaped perfectly, but unlike most sugary candies, I noticed the sugar on these candies had caked on in areas unevenly. I would assume by the appearance, these could be bulk commercial candies dipped in distillate or infused sugar. If that is the case, the uneven distribution of sugar may be an issue with establishing accurate dosing for each piece.
Eating the candies was great. No odd flavours, great chewy texture and pretty much commercial standard. I have a mountain-high cannabis tolerance (and secret gummy cravings) so I chose to eat the whole packet in one sitting. Unfortunately I had to settle for licking the sugar off the mint leaf gummies and throwing the gummy away as they were my last favourite.
Infused Gummy Effects:
I have a very busy schedule and jumped from task to task, but an hour or so after eating these gummies I could sense a weight in my steps. Rather than my mind racing from though to thought, I would find myself glazing over and staring into the distance without recollection of what I was just thinking about. A good clue that the edible was taking effect!
Not overly sedating, these gummies were a great go-to edible for daytime, but I certainly wouldn’t recommend having as much as I did, especially if you need to focus! My thoughts were happily drifting, and when they weren’t, my mind felt like it was blank. Anxiety? Consider it out the window with these bad boys.
I found these gummies enjoyable and a great sweet snack. Given their quality in production and packaging, I would definitely recommend them to a friend or someone trying edibles for the first time.
