Dovercourt Park Bakery Overview:
I was really satisfied with the experience from the P.B. Cup Cookie of Dovercourt Park Bakery. The product smelt and tasted wonderful with only trace flavours of cannabis that hide in the background. The effect of 50 mg of kief were relaxing and not overpowering. The effects were split 50/50 between a body buzz and mental stimulation. This is great of patients wanting to get rid of body pain, but still being able to mental focus on tasks.

Dovercourt Park Bakery Pricing & Selection:
Dovercourt Park Bakery has 4 main products that they produce. These products are their smore doodle, cannasyrup, medicated chocolate and P.B. Cup Cookies. Dovercourt is currently not doing any sales because of the issues with how police view edibles. There are no set prices on their products, but samples can be tasted for free when Dovercourt attends the Green Market.
Unique to Dovercourt Park Bakery:
I found the story of how Dovercourt Park Bakery got started, very interesting. The founder attended the first Karma Cup in Toronto, two years ago, and learnt some tips on making edibles and noticed there wasn’t much competition for edibles. From there, Dovercourt started working on preparing a line of edibles to enter into the second Karma Cup. They have further refined their products in preparation for the third Karma Cup (Oct. 22-23, 2016) where both Dovercourt’s owner and myself will be judges.
Peanut Butter Cup Cookie Taste:
The Peanut Butter Cup Cookie was cooked perfectly at a low temperature, keeping both the THC and moister in the cookie. The peanut butter and chocolate did a great job of covering the cannabis flavour. There was only a small flavour of cannabis, but it was more of a minty flavour than distinctly a weed flavour.
Peanut Butter Cup Cookie Effects:
I found the effects of half a P.B. Cup Cookies (50 mg kief) were nice and relaxing. The effects were split evenly between a mental and physical body load. The body load relieved my back pain and the mental effects stimulated my thoughts. Often I find edibles lack in mental effects, resulting in regular medical patients still smoking to get the desired mental effects. The P.B. Cup Cookie gave me a good amount of mental stimulation, so I did not need to smoke, but the effects weren’t as strong as some lower dosed edibles I’ve had.
