Toronto Police in front of Evergreen Medicinals after stabbing

A worker who was stabbed during a pot shop robbery on Friday is expected to recover, according to police.

Dispensaries have popped up across the city in recent years. They have increasingly become the target of robberies.

Last year, police investigated eight pot shop holdups, but Earl said such heists are not always reported.
