Three charged in Hamilton and Toronto dispensary robberies

Three men have been charged in a string of GTA dispensary robberies, including a downtown Hamilton holdup last month.

Toronto Police have charged Stephen Souza, 19, of Mississauga, Median Jackson, 23, of Brampton, and Jordell Nwagwu-Grant, 18 (of no fixed address) with robbery, robbery with a firearm, conspiracy to commit, administer noxious substance and weapon possession.

It is alleged that at the time of their April 29 arrest, they had been conspiring to plan a third dispensary robbery. They appeared in Toronto court Wednesday.

Souza faces additional charges related to bank robberies in Toronto and Kitchener. Additional suspects are being sought in those cases. Anyone with information is asked to contact Toronto Police at 416-808-7350, or Crime Stoppers anonymously at 416-222-TIPS (8477).
