Four people are facing drug trafficking-related charges following a police raid on a downtown Toronto dispensary.
Toronto police said they made the arrests after executing a search warrant at Bellwoods Dispensary at 872 Dundas St. W. at about 8:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
On Wednesday morning, a post on an Instagram account associated with the shop indicated the location would re-open soon.
Police said four Toronto residents, Scott Scaravelli, 40, Samson Okungbowa, 25, Sasha Soeterik-Powell, 36, and Matthew Willis, 29, are facing three charges each of drug possession, possession for the purpose of trafficking and possession of property obtained by crime.
They are scheduled to appear in court in Toronto on April 25.
Five Cannabis Culture dispensary locations in Toronto were raided on March 9, along with one in Hamilton and another in Vancouver, in an investigation dubbed “Project Gator.”
