If you have questions about cannabis and hemp, you’re not alone.
Marijuana has always been a hot topic around the water cooler, but now it’s moved into the boardroom as business interest has boomed with the legalization of recreational marijuana expected later this year.
So it’s little surprise that one of Canada’s biggest trade show companies is bringing back a comprehensive event about the industry to Calgary.
The Cannabis and Hemp Expo comes to Stampede Park’s BMO Centre on April 7 and 8. The show will bring together consumers, businesses, growers, retailers and other stakeholders in the rapidly expanding marijuana marketplace.
“Last year we were excited to bring this show to Alberta, particularly at a time where the discussion around cannabis has become a daily occurrence in mainstream media. The show took off last year and it’s become the biggest and most significant show of its kind. There are lots of people seeking answers and information,” says Sean Libin, vice-president of marketing with Canwest Productions, a Canadian trade show company.
