The Lifted Market is a free cannabis event that happens twice a month in Toronto, once in the East end, and once in the west. The market is organized to provide access to a diverse range of products that are hard to get. It’s amazing to walk into a room where bud, concentrates, clones, seeds, pipes, grinders, vape pens, capsules, CBD, cannagars, and more can all be purchased, with some having samples available. It’s fantastic to see this diversity of products currently offered and the swarm of people that came out to enjoy.
Being approximately a month and a half away for legalization it hard to believe the only products offered (to my knowledge) to the recreational market will be bud, cannabis oil (grape, canola, etc. cooking oils), capsules, pre-rolled joints, seeds and clones. It really makes me wonder what the future of cannabis will look like after October 17th. Luckily there was a paralegal named, Raymond Lee Hathaway at the event answering legal questions for a dollar. Raymond was also canvasing for individuals affects by dispensary raids, to have their voice hear at the Humans Rights Tribunal Hearing on September 25th, 2018. (9:30am 655 Bay St. 14th floor) If you would like to have your voice hear, please contact Raymond through CannabisIsMyRight.ca, or the info below.
There were lots of vendors spread around the room, with a handful of new companies making their first appearance at the Lifted Market. It’s always nice to see the regular vendors such as Sofa King Good Bakery, Bloom High Teas Social Club, Purple Crown Cannabis Co., and CannaWorld at the market.
There were vendors we had seen at other markets like 91 Supreme, Deezy Organix, Eat Your Green, Pink Dolphin, Mary J’s Munchies, and Hover CBD who now had a spot at the Lift Market. It’s nice to see the vendors changing the markets they are going to, to help reach more people. Some companies split their efforts and had booths at multiple markets to cover as much territory as possible in one day.
At this market there were a lot of vendors, and lots to talk about. Before I knew it, two hours had flown by and still more to see. We ended up spending three and a half hour chatting with vendors and attendees. Everyone attending the market was happy with the selection of products offered, with it being common to grab a couple products from the different vendors.
We got a lot of products for reviews including Mac N Cheese from Eat Your Green, bud from Ziggy Budz, terpene CBD from Hover CBD, gummies from Purple Crown Cannabis Co., and some treats from Sweet Treats. With two major cannabis events coming up this week, Grow Up Conference & Karma Cup, we’ll try our best to get to these product reviews ASAP.
We’ve been to a bunch of Toronto cannabis markets, and this is the third time at a Lifted Market. I prefer how this market is run, giving back to the community by not having a door price, hourly door raffles, snacks & music for all. Not to mention the amount of vendors with different products and being willing to inform you about their goods.
It’s hard to remember all the Companies that had a booth, but I’ll try my best to remeber: 91 Supreme, Deezy Organix, Bloom High Tea Social Club, Irie Medz, CannaWorld, Purple Krown Cannabis Co., Sweet Treats, Flight 9 Medibles, Stank Dank Farms, Spacedout Extracts, River Valley Medicinal, Pink Dolphin GTA, Quad City, Soul Snacks, The Lip Company.ca, Raymond Lee Hathaway, Sofa King Good Bakery, Cannabuzz Cafe, Mary J’s Munchies, Eat Your Green, Cannabucha, Hover CBD, Ziggy Budz, Stay Lifted, Nugz, and many more.
There are always new vendors attending the Lifted Market so stay posted to social media for updates on which vendors will be at the next market, when & where it will take place. We hope to see you there!
