We made it to our first Lifted Market on Sunday June 10th, which was the second Lifted Market to take place. The Lifted Market is planned to happen twice a month, servicing both the East and West end of Toronto. This Market is organized by an edible company rather than the High 5/Green Market that regularly organizes edible markets.
With this being the second Lifted Market, I’m sure there will be some slight adjustments to how the event is run over time. One thing for sure is there is a demand for events like this, with the advanced tickets selling out. The market, for accessibility reasons has decided to scrap door costs indefinitely! Wanting everyone to be able to afford to check out the Lifted Market!
The market brought out edible & concentrate producers, offering samples and product information. I was surprised to see the number of concentrate companies vending, with at least five present. It was really nice to see everyone dabbing as many market locations wont allow torches or e-nails inside. The organizers did a nice job making the place inviting with music playing, non-medicated snacks and being entered into a raffle upon entry.
Being a new market and having different organizers, there were many new companies (20+) in attendance. Unfortunately we were just stopping by the market quickly and didn’t get a chance to talk with all the vendors.
If you enjoy concentrate, edibles, and/or meeting more like-minded cannabis individual, it’s worth checking out this market. Make sure you give yourself lots of time because there are plenty of vendors to chat with and sample/purchase from. The next Lifted Markets will take place on July 8th for the West end of Toronto and July 15th for the East end.
